We are Kaloni and Steve and we are first time, first generation farmers. We started this adventure after our kids convinced us to buy chickens for the backyard of our suburban home in Murfreesboro.

Often referred to as the "gateway livestock", raising chickens inspired us to go all in and buy 25 acres of forest in Readyville in 2020 and we've been farming ever since.

In addition to heritage breed pigs, we have cattle and chickens, all of which we rotationally graze, helping to restore a neglected, overgrown forest, back to an oak savannah flush with grasses native to Tennessee.
